I'm in a really really good mood.

Mainly because I got a whole shit load of stuff done yesterday.

Not at work, even though that was a full day of work, but I mean the extra stuff around the house.

It started out with bringing my car in and having Mike take a look at it. He declared it to "not good" and I left it, of course.

I got it back after work and Mike had to replace the bushing (I had to ask Dave exactly what a bushing was. Now I know.) and he also had to realign it.

And he did not charge me. He said, of course, that he wasn't SURE that it was something that HE had done to make the bushing go bad, but he was not going to charge me.

Well, Duh!!! I would not have paid for the repair.

anyway, he also said that it might take care of the undiagnosed clunk that I have been hearing for a while.

so, it's all good.

Oh, I got a call from Sam. Little Tanner was in the hospital with a fever and dehydration. So, I ran there after work and spent an hour and half holding that little guy. I fed him and cuddled him while he was sleeping. Poor thing. He was so warm and just needed some GRANDMA LOVE!!!! He slept so good in my arms. I didn't see a smile from him at all, but I don't blame him. He's not feeling well. It looks like he will be going home tomorrow. They are just making sure that he had enough IV fluids in him and the test for H1N1 comes back negative. (hopefully!!) Poor little guy!!!

then I ran home. I roasted pumpkin seeds, carved two more pumpkins, cleaned out my closet from the bird seed spillage, but while I was in there, I pulled all of Jim's shoes out and packed them in a box and found Jenenr's shoes and loaded them in my car.

Oh, when I got home, my garage door opener was working again!! YIPEE!!! It's been so long since it worked. I also have a keyless entry that I could not remember the code, so I had to do some research on how to change it, and that took a while. I did that and I also changed the light bulbs on the opener. Both were burnt out. Again, it's been so long since it was used.

So, no more getting out of the car to open the damn door by hand!!!

Now, since my remote battery is also dead, I have to get out of the car to punch in the code!!! LOL

Well, that will change today when I bring the remote into Wally World and have them put a new battery in. It's a watch battery, so I just let them change it for me.

By the time all this stuff was done, it was after 8:00 and I hadn't eaten dinner yet, so I made a bagel with ham and cheese and ate that.

Dave texted me to call him, so I did that. He was having a good time. They got back from hunting around 6:00 and had dinner and then were about to have a couple of beers and relax the rest of the evening. He just wanted to gab. I do believe the man misses me!!!

He said their group only got four ducks today but will do better tomorrow. He was having a problem with his gun but he still managed to get one duck.

I told him all about what I was doing and he was excited about my garage door opener and my car getting fixed. He's so funny. Must be boring up there in Canada if my car repair is exciting!!!

I talked with Jenner yesterday morning. She was in a good mood. She asked me to come pick her up this morning at the car repair shop since she is finally getting her calipers fixed. And she just wants a ride home. That's cool. I will give her the box of shoes I gathered for her. Yipee!! Getting things out of my house!!!

I have one more night to get stuff done around my house before Dave comes home since I am going out tomorrow night for Karaoke. I still have a huge list of things to do, and I think I bit off more than I can chew. I still have one more pumpkin to carve. It's a big one and it's at Dave's, so I am going to go there and carve it. Not gonna haul that thing across the yard.

I want to go tanning tonight after work. Then I need to stop at Wally World since I forgot stuff the other day. Of course. Then I want to work on that pumpkin I mentioned earlier. Then it's one to making an apple pie and then I really need to clean my bathrooms and do some floor cleaning. Oh, and brush Indy. He is shedding like crazy right now. Hence the need to clean the floors!!

I love getting things done and love being busy. Especially when Dave is gone. It makes the time go faster.

Only 55 more hours until he is home.

But who is counting?
