I've been gone for a while. Here's a short recap on what I've been doing.

Friday: Work. Then Dave and I went bowling. Too much fun!! I fell down the lane the first throw. Rotten rental shoes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

Saturday: Dave had a booth at a town up north for his company at a Chainsaw Carving thingy. I went along to help him and to check things out. Was tons of fun even though at one point a transformer started smoking and everyone ran for their lives. Made it interesting, to say the least.

We were invited to go down to Doug's for a bonfire but I opted out because I was not feeling well. Something was coming on and I was not too energetic. So, I stayed at Dave's and watched TV while he went down for a couple of hours.

Sunday: I got up with Dave at 5:30 to see him off to the Viking game. King Stewart only had one extra ticket and asked Dave to go. He didn't want to go without me but I insisted that he experience a Viking game in the dome. I have already done that before so I was fine where I was. I cleaned my living room carpet with the hand tools because it works better than using the whole machine. Then I painted my deck. Showered and went over to Dave's to watch the Viking game on his bigger than mine TV. Crocheted and then went home and napped. Got up and went back to Dave's to wait for him to come home. He finally made it around 9:30,. sicker than a dog. I said it was drinking all day long and eating too much, but he thinks differently. Anyway, I went home after tucking him in to bed.

Monday: Really feeling sick so I called in sick. Went to Dave's for coffee without even getting dressed and spent most of the day there, just laying on the couch and watching TV with him.

Tuesday: Still sick. Called in sick again. Spent the whole day at home, just watching movies, napping and crocheting. I haven't driven my car since Sunday and was feeling a little stir crazy!!!

Today: I am at work. Feeling better. Still want to go home and nap, though. Trying to catch up on all the work that Bossy Man left me. Both good and bad since it makes the time go by quicker, but also wears me out faster. Looking forward to going home, however I need to meet Dave after work to shop for his granddaughter's birthday which is Sunday and he needs to get the present in the mail tomorrow. Might go out for one quick drink at Yesterday's Gone for karaoke, but probably will be too wiped to do that. I also need to pick up a few things for myself. Toothpaste, dog food, conditioner, gift for my niece's wedding this weekend, etc. Gonna get that done and call it good.

Oh, I called Amy to have her dogsit for me this weekend. She agreed to and then asked me if I could do her a huge favor. I said, sure. She asked if I would take her cat in for a "while" since the place she is moving into does not accept animals.

Okay. I have had her cat before and it was mostly fine, except for the plants that she ate. She got along fine with my dogs and my cat.

But now I am wondering what her plan is. Is she just looking for someplace for a week or so until she finds a different place for her? Or is she thinking more along the lines of temporarily permanent? I am at the point where I am trying to figure out what to do with the animals I own and now she is giving me one more. Yikes!!! The last time she left Daisy with me, she didn't pay for food or litter or anything, so I took care of all that for her. That's fine, but still, it's the principle of the thing. Oh, and I hope that her cat is fixed because there is nothing more irritating than a cat in heat.

What did I get myself into this time?
