Work yesterday was good. In fact, it was pretty slow.

I had time to find Dancing with the Stars on youtube and watched the first night of dancing. For some reason, my DVR did not record it. And I was panicking!!! I can't miss DWTS!!!!

My printer at work suddenly decided it did not want to work anymore, so I was struggling with that. I decided to wait until morning to try to get the Help Desk involved since they would probably call me about two minutes before I was to leave work, and I really didn't want to sit there and wait for them to fix the problem.

I went tanning after work and then came home to find Dave working on our lawns. He had mowed my front lawn for me, which was really nice. It frees up a couple hours of my evening time, that's for sure!!!

Then he helped me replace the bulb on my license plate. I knew that the cops in this town would surely pull me over for a burned out license plate light.

I tried to do it myself, but the damn screws were to rusted on, I couldn't get at the light. So, trusty Dave came to the rescue.

Then I had to run to get the shower and grab something to eat before April came to get me for the Tastefully Simple party at Sam's house. I was pretty happy to have something to do since Dave was a little crabby and I didn't want to hang out with him too much. I tend to suck up the moods of others and I just didn't want to be brought down last night.

We did our little "lady" thing, which was fine, and then we headed back to Dave's for cake.

April left shortly afterwards and Dave and I were getting into a really deep discussion when Doug showed up. He has the worst timing sometimes!!!!

I was getting pretty tired by this time so I sat with the guys for a few minutes and was heading to bed. I heard Doug calling April to come down and I felt kinda bad about going to bed when she was just coming over, but I was just too tired.

I have to get up at 5:30 am, people!!! As it was, I didn't get to bed until 10:30 since Doug kept calling me and asking me questions before I could finally get my ass in bed.

Then I couldn't fully fall asleep until Dave came to bed shortly after midnight.

So, I am a bit tired right now.

I worked on my printer this morning and got it working again. Screw the damn Help Desk!! I'll fix it all by myself!!!

Tonight, I am hoping to get my living room and hallway floors vacuumed. Indy the Wonder Dog is going through his semi-annual shedding and he's dropping clumps of hair like mad right now!!! Black clumps of hair on beige carpeting just drives me nuts!!!

I need to work on a curtain for my mom, too, for her spare bedroom, which happens to be MY old bedroom. I said I would make a new curtain for her and since I will be there on the 3rd of October for my niece's wedding, I better get something done there. I would also like to spend some quality computer time getting my pictures off my camera and onto Facebook. I promised my mom I would make copies of the wedding pictures, too, and I need to put them on disc.

All sorts of things I SHOULD be doing. But, after I get some of that stuff done, I need to move my ass AGAIN and get ready to go out with Doug, April and Dave for dinner tonight. We are meeting later than normal, so that's fine with me.

Tomorrow night, Angel is coming over. I saw her last night and asked her to help me pick out colors to paint Dave's living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. He has all white rooms and he really needs to make the house HIS since his ex-wife moved out. And he is hopeless in that area, so I asked Angel to help me pick out colors.

Friday night I might actually have some time to myself. I am not sure yet, of course, but just MAYBE!!!

This weekend is a dealie in Hackensack, MN, where they are having a chainsaw carving contest. Now, Dave might have to be there to represent his company, so I might just fly up there on Saturday to watch them carve up stuff and then come home whenever I feel like it. I don't like to be STUCK up there, so I will just drive myself. That way I can get home and get more stuff done. I need to put the finish paint on the deck and I am working on getting some gutters in place before the snow flies.

Okay. I better get my butt moving here. Bossy Man sent me lots of files so far and I have a feeling he is just starting!!!!
