Slept in again this morning. This is the last day I can do it. Bossy Man will be back tomorrow.

Yesterday was a pretty good day at work. I had lots to do and was actually panicking a bit when I opened my email and saw how many transcription files I had from Bossy Man from the weekend.

But, once I calmed down and took a good look at them, I realized that half of the files could not be entered until today, so I could relax and not worry about getting it all done in one day.

But I worked my little fingers off and got a HUGE amount done and off my list of things to do.

Today, I have some work to do but not enough to keep me busy all day long, so I brought along pieces of my Christmas craft project to work on while I am sitting at my desk, probably watching something on Instant Play from Netflix.

I went home at noon yesterday to see Dave. He made me lunch and we gabbed and stuff. He is having issues with his 21 year old son. The kid was so disrespectful to Dave yesterday that when Dave denied him something he wanted, the kid went off on him, yelling and calling him nasty names and saying that he is not a good father, etc.

The kid has some issues, and the one thing he was telling Dave was that he had changed, but then he goes off on a rant over the phone when he didn't get what he wanted. I don't blame Dave at all for being cautious and not wanting to get burned again by this kid, but Dave feels really bad about the whole thing. So, he is not doing so well today.

April, Trish, and Doug came down to Dave's last night to watch the Vikings game out on the deck. Dave brings out his portable TV and we set it up outside and watch as long as we can stand the chilly weather and mosquitoes. It's always fun to have people on the deck. It's relaxing and everyone can do what they want. We decorated the deck with all the Viking stuff I have. Hats, jerseys, window clings, and Ike the Vike stuffed Viking "doll" that belonged to my dad. It really was cute.

The girls left before half time because April had to run down to the Twin Cities and Trish had to get home to her kids. So, that left the guys and me. We had a great time. Doug did not want to leave at the end of the game so we had to pretty much push him out the door. We were tired!!!!

Slept in this morning, as I said. Got ready for work and then went back to Dave's for coffee. He bought me a really cool coffee mug from Myrtle Beach and I had to use it, of course!!! He also brought me a TON of seashells. All sorts and sizes. Not sure what I am going to do with them all, but they are so pretty. No wonder he had a hard time getting his suitcase out of the trunk on Sunday night! It was full of heavy shells!!!! Too cute!!

I talked with Jenner this morning. She sounds so tired. She is trying to work full time and go to school full time and get all her homework and reading done. She tried to have her hours reduced at work but they won't let her unless someone who already is part time will switch positions with her. So far, there is no one who wants to go full time and take her hours. So, that is not helping at all.

I am heading out of town again this weekend to Thief River Falls, which is WAY north in Minnesota. I have never been there, but I will on Friday. Dave has to work a Country Music fest there and his company is allowing me to come along. They are providing me with company shirts and paying my way in and putting us up in a hotel. So, it's all good. Dave is not excited about working the festival but I am kinda looking forward to going since it will be something different to do. And I have no obligations, so I can come and go as I please. I may sit at the hotel in the pool the whole weekend!!!!

Okay. Well, I guess I better get some stuff going here. I may not have a LOT of work to do, but I do like to get it done before I waste too much time.
