Men are silly creatures, to be sure!!!

I just got off the phone with Dave.

He told me all about Doug's tattoo that they mentioned the day before.

I didn't believe that Doug got a tattoo, much less one when he was drunk, out of state.

I was right.

Sorta.

When Dave mentioned the tattoo again I just had to ask:

How long did it take him to get this tattoo?

The answer:

About four minutes.

Yeah. It's an airbrushed one.

Goofy men.

Oh, and the REAL reason why I think men are off their rockers?

Doug has now decided that he does not want to stay in Myrtle Beach until Monday.

He wants to come home early. Apparently he is not getting along with Jeremy.

Now, Jeremy can be an ass.

But I really love the guy. He's funny. His sense of humor is off the wall. And once you get past his arrogance, you can get along with him fine.

I, myself, thought he was an ass the first time I met him.

But now, I love the guy. I really do.

He's fun. He appreciates MY sense of humor, which can mirror his own quite often.

But he DOES push people a little too far sometimes.

Anyway, Doug has been having a bit of a struggle with Jeremy lately. Some having to do with the way that Jeremy has treated his boat.

See, Jeremy has Doug's boat most of the time. He has full use of it whenever he wants. Doug is fine with that. Doug is the most generous person alive. If Doug has sometime, he will loan it. Without strings. Without reservation.

Jeremy returned Doug's boat to him shortly before we all went to the Lake of the Woods a few weekends ago. Trashed. Totally trashed. Doug was NOT happy, seeing as how he had just spent $500 on detailing it.

So, yes, I can understand his unhappiness.

And Doug usually shrugs this stuff off.

Not this time. He was saying NO ONE was going to borrow anything of his anymore. (Except Dave, because Dave is very careful and returns things cleaner than he borrowed them. I know, because I have loaned him many things and they always come back in nicer condition!!)

Anyway, back to the guys' vacation.

Well, apparently Jeremy pushed Doug too far last night. This was after Dave went to bed. He said that they were out on the balcony, yelling at each other, and Doug this morning wants to go home.

Okay, here is where it gets really really silly:

Does he want to leave NOW?

Nope.

He wants to leave on Sunday.

What the hell?

If you are going to stay around THAT long, you may as well stick around until your flight on Monday.

How stupid.

Anyway, so Dave is all for leaving early, if Doug wants to.

I guess the weather is not that great. The fishing trip got canceled due to Tropical Storm Danny. And with the skies overcast, there is not much in the way of sunning on the beach.

So, they will be leaving early, maybe. The final plans are not made yet.

I was asked to come pick them up at the airport on Sunday. No problem there.

But, really, they might as well stay until Monday.

Silly men!!!

Remind me again why we women like men that much?
