<< I feel slightly harassed. Okay, a LOT harassed!!!! >> Well, the ex has now crossed the line. He broke into my house yesterday while I was at work. He even emailed me to let me know he did it. And he stated that he stopped by the police station before he came over to talk to them about it and he said they told him that he could do it. Think I am a bit pissed at them? Oh yes!! So, I will be stopping by there tonight after work and asking them if procedures were followed. I want to make sure that they checked to see if there was a restraining order against him before they told him to go ahead and break into the house. There was no need to do that. I told him over and over again that I would let him in. What an asshole!!! anyway, I found out how he got in, through a window in my garage that leads to a storage area in my basement. The window opens to the outside. Who the hell would put a window that opens to the outside? And the lock is on the OUTSIDE. What a stupid thing to install. Anyway, my dear sweet Dave came over and screwed the window shut, stripping the screws so they can't be removed AND added plywood over the top of the glass, again stripping the screws so they can't be removed. The EX was SOOOO concerned about not having his stuff in the garage because it's not secure, then he breaks into my house, leaving the back door open so anyone can come in and steal the rest of the stuff. Does THIS make any sense? Nope. It's all a control issue. So, I stopped by the courthouse yesterday, picked up a Harassment Restraint Order packet and brought that bitch home. I just finished typing it up and I will be bringing it back today. They told me if I get it there by 2:00, then the judge will see it the same day. So, I will be doing that pretty soon. It will be well worth the $320 to keep EX from coming close to the house again. He came BACK in the afternoon, while I was home. Now, he also said that he would NOT come over to the house while I am there because he does not want to see me. What? So, WHY THE HELL did he come over when he knew I was home? Makes sense? Nope. Not at all. Again, a control issue. Anyway, so he dropped off the lawn mower and gas can and then he took some pictures of the garage. Why? I am not sure. He could not see where the window was boarded up, so it wasn't THAT. The only thing I can think of it he wanted proof that his items were not in the garage to begin with and that if I move them out there, he has proof that I moved them to an insecure place. Whatever. He is so stupid. anyway, he left without coming to the door, which was locked, chained and guarded. Dave was next door, watching him, too, so there was backup there, too. I went over to Dave's where we had t-bone steaks and corn for dinner. then we ran to met Doug to pick him up after he dropped off his truck at the repair shop. then we went home again and built a bonfire. Doug and April came down and we gabbed all night long. It was just what I needed. Some down time with friends after the stress of the last couple of days. Today, like I said, I will be filing that harassment order and I hope the judge will sign off on it. The form asks for lots of details of stalking incidents (I have one confirmed incident of that), harassing phone calls (I have LOTS of dates of THAT), and other contacts (tons of emails printed out). The thing that will most likely sway the judge in my favor in ordering this protection is Jim breaking into the house. And I have proof that he did it in form of the email he sent me, stating that he broke in. Oh, and what he wanted in the house? A lamp, some books, a suitcase, and an oil painting his dad did. Think that was worth all this fuss he is causing over the key issue? Nope. I don't either. How stupid. Now he will have an order against him coming to the house and he won't be able to get his stuff afterall. What an idiot. Okay. I'm done with that subject. On to more important things: Brett Favre is coming to Minnesota. I am feeling a bit conflicted on that one. My Dad taught me two things when it comes to football: Love the Vikings. Hate the Packers. LOL!!! So, the former Packer great coming to MN is really kinda hard for me. However, Doug has promised that if the Vikings go to the Super Bowl, he is taking ME with him. Dave can stay home!! That's too funny!! The way Dave gets all ticked off because he was not invited to go!!! Anyway, it's all a big IF, of course, but with Brett Favre on our side, it's a better possibility. Oh, and we are planning a trip to see the Viking home opener. I haven't been to a game in so many years that it would be great to go!!! Dave gets to go because he is going to drive the camper. I only get to go if someone cancels out. I have been told that Julie doesn't really want to go so I might get her ticket. Whatever. I just want to go. Okay. Gotta run now. I have work to do and I spent all my "Diaryland" time actually typing up harassment forms instead of here. Have a good one!!! |
