Work yesterday was steady. Which was good. Had entries for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to enter into the database. It all went well and I thought I had it all, and then Bossy Man kept sending me MORE Monday entries, after clearly telling me I had them ALL.

Whatever.

So, I had to keep changing the totals.

Plus there was a mistake from down in the Cities which caused me to have to add entries onto Wednesday's totals, but actually belonged to Monday, so I had to keep refiguring those until I got the correct amounts totaled.

Yeah, I don't expect anyone to understand what I am saying. It's just stupid stuff with this database that won't allow us to backdate anything. Let's just say it had to do with having to reenter 74 entries from the old rehab line to the new. Stupid, actually.

And those 74 entries? Took me over an hour to switch them over. What a pain!!! For something that was NOT my fault. I just had to clean up the mess.

Anyway, so did THAT stuff.

Oh, and got a lot of letters to do, too.

this morning I see I have a TON of reports to finish. and it's a short day today, so I will be CRUISING to get my stuff done today.

After work yesterday, I went to the liquor store to pick up some wine that Doug wanted me to get for the weekend at Lake of the Woods. The place was PACKED!! It's National NRHA racing weekend here in Brainerd, so people are coming from far to spend their weekend watching the races. It's a GREAT time to get out of town for the locals!!!

I really don't know a lot of locals that actually go to the races here. They would rather get out of town than have to deal with all the tourists. and I am one of them.

The only problem I am going to have is when we come back to town on Sunday, having to go past the racetrack on the way. They will be letting them all out all at once and it can get backed up for miles!!! I think we can find a back way to go to bypass the whole mess.

I hung around the house last night, in the heat and humidity. Dave was out of town on appointments and he could not believe that I was home instead of at his house in the central air. I was actually packing for the weekend and catching up on my DVRed programs, so I was busy anyway.

He got home around 9:00 and I met him at his house. We gabbed for a bit, talking about what we need to bring for the weekend and then I went to bed. I was tired. Dave stayed up and watched some TV. I barely heard him come in about an hour later.

He's so funny!! He knows that my alarm on my cell phone is set for 5:27 am to get up in the morning for work. He knew he had to get up early, too, this morning so he set HIS for 5:26, just so HIS would go off before mine. What a goofy man!!!!

So, we got up. I had a quick cup of coffee and then ran home to shower and eat and take care of my dogs. then I ran back for another cup of coffee and then off to work.

Dave is leaving with Doug early this morning, after they get the boat buffed. Why?? Because DOUG is being anal about it and he loaned his boat to Jeremy, who apparently scuffed it up AFTER Doug just got it detailed. Now he is all hyped up about the scuffs on the boat and it NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF!!! RIGHT NOW!! In fact, he wanted to do it last night after Dave got home, but Dave said no. Too late and too many mosquitoes. This is just Doug. I think I will tell him that I can't possibly go in his boat until he gets rid of the scuff marks.

Goofy ass shit, there!!!!

I'm all hyper myself right now from the coffee and the idea in my head that I have to HURRY to get things done before I can leave. I need to calm down and remember that everything will still be here on Monday when I come back to work.

I am leaving at 2:00 and hurrying home and taking care of the dogs and getting the final stuff together before April comes to pick me up. I am pretty much ready, except for the last minute stuff.

It's gonna be a scorcher again today and I just found out that the cabin we are staying in has NO air conditioning. And probably no fans, so we are going to have a hot night of it.

Gee, can't wait!!!!

Okay. That's all I have. I need to get my ass in gear and get my work done now. Have a great weekend!!!!!
