Work yesterday was pretty good. No word from Bossy Man, which is nice, right?

I DID have plenty of work to take me through the whole day. Well, it WOULD have taken up nearly the whole day, except I was farting around on the internet for part of the day since I knew the work I had in my inbox was ALL I was going to get until Wednesday. So, I took my dear, sweet time!!

About a half hour until closing time, Sam and Tanner stopped by. I was so happy to see that little guy!! He's two weeks old and still cute as a button!!!

I got to feed him and play with him. I just love newborns!!!

Sam stayed for about an hour, so it was pretty late by the I left work.

I had gotten a call from Dave earlier and he said that we should have dinner together that night, but he was ready for a home cooked meal.

Hint, hint

So, I asked him if he wanted me to make my spaghetti and he jumped at the chance. And then he wanted to invite April and Doug over, too. I said that was fine. He called. They accepted.

So, I ran to Wally World to get the ingredients and then home. I stopped at Dave's to drop off the stuff to save a trip later.

Went home. took care the dogs and stuff around the house. Ran back to Dave's to start dinner. He was just getting home himself.

Made dinner with NO help from Dave. Whatever. I guess that's fine, but I would have at least offered to help. I did get him later and MADE him come inside to help me serve.

No gonna hold it against him.

We ate. Had my apple pie for desert. April really really liked it and wants me to make her a pie, too.

I probably will.

I like making pies. I just don't like eating them due to the calories!!

Trish came later with her lawn mower that Dave was going to fix for her. The ladies sat on the deck and gabbed while the guys did their Macho thing and worked on the mower.

Oh, and played with the Mustang, too.

Men!! Too funny!!

Made plans for the Halloween party we are throwing at Dave's. That will be fun!!!

After everyone left, it was nearly 10:00 as we were beat!! So, we just went to bed. No TV, no internet. Nothing. Just sleep.

woke up this morning to Dave's alarm. He didn't move, so I got up and made coffee and got us moving.

got to work a little late, but again, no Bossy Man, no problem.

I got a call from my district manager this morning. She asked if I would be interested in working from home. I said I would be. I think that would be great!!!

anyway, she said not right now, but we'll look into it for next year.

Okay. Whatever. Get me all excited and then pull the plug on me.

There ARE some issues, however. I don't know where I will be living after Ivan takes over the loan. I would hate to have to move everything after just moving it to my current home.

Whatever. I guess time will tell on what I do later. I'm in no hurry to move right now.

Okay. Time for a smoke!!! Only 15 more days of smoking!!!!
