I looked for a bucket at work to put on my head for Poolie's contest. Could not find one. :-(

And, of course, when I get home, I totally forget EVERYTHING that happens during the day, so no bucket picture.

I really need to work on this.

Anyway, work yesterday was good. Mostly the same old, same old, only with a new twist. Bossy Man actually sent me work later in the day and I had things to do. So much that I didn't get it all done. So, there is work for me, waiting in my inbox, this morning.

After work, I went to the Crow Wing County Fair. I just wanted to eat some Fair food.

And I did. I started out with cheese curds. then I had to have a Monster Ear. The young girl, around 9 or 10, manning the till tried to give me change back of $11 instead of $17, so I had to correct her. I hate doing that, but I'll be damned if I am going to pay $9 for a Monster Ear!!!!

It was good, but not THAT good.

Then I picked up some cotton candy and mini donuts for home. I was not going to eat them there. Too full already with the other OH SO HEALTHY food.

I am trying to lose weight before my trip in December and I have really been watching it, but the Fair only comes but once a year.

I didn't even get to eat my Shooster's burger like I wanted to. I think I will go back on Saturday for THAT.

I walked around at all the local booths and I saw the photographer from Jenner's wedding there. I checked out his picture display, and sure enough, there was Jenner and Jason's wedding picture!! It was so beautiful. I asked him if she gets the picture after he is done with it and he said she would eventually.

Then he went on and on about how beautiful my daughter is and how lovely she looked that day and her hair is SUCH a great color, and her smile is so radiant.

Okay. I have to admit I ate it all up. This is MY daughter we are talking about. And I paid a lot for that smile!!!! LOL

Anyway, he's such a nice man and I can't wait to see the full array of pictures he took. I texted Jenner about seeing the picture there and I talked to her later. She is going to go see it herself. She is going to Wadena today to get herself all oriented for school and then she said she would stop by my house and let me make a copy of the disc of pictures from the photographer. It will be nice to visit with her. I haven't seen her in a while.

Anyway, after the fair, I went tanning and it was WAY too short!! I was so relaxed in there. And the weather has been less than HOT, even less than WARM, so it felt so good.

then home again, home again.

I did some stuff around the house, cleaning stuff. No laundry, but I took care of a few other things.

I sat down to watch a movie on DVD and Dave called me. It was already 8:30 or so and I figured he would not get home before I went to bed.

Well, he just barely made it. I was just about to crawl into bed, was already in my pjs, when he called again to say he was home and did I want to come over and have a smoke with him before I got to bed?

I said sure, so I walked across our lawns in my pjs. I don't care what the neighbors think of me too much. And I DID have my bathrobe over my pjs. LOL

Visited for a few minutes and then headed back home to bed and sleep. I was TIRED!!!

And here I am.

I have my iced coffee. I have my computer. And I have my work sitting in front of me. I better get moving!!!
