I am WAY behind in my morning rituals!!

I was just on the phone for an hour with Jenner. She's is both excited to start school in three weeks, but also stressed out because she is starting school in three weeks!!!

It's life, people.

Work yesterday was pretty busy in the morning but then tapered off to nearly nothing by after lunch. Then another surge the last hour of work. And a RUSH letter about ten minutes before I was scheduled to leave.

Went to Cub Foods after work because I wanted to get some GOOD fruit to snack on instead of chocolate all the time (trying to get that waist line in shape before my trip in December) and Wally World just does not have very good fruit.

So, I picked up blackberries, raspberries, and a mixed fruit bowl. And I also picked up zero fat yogurt to snack on. I think it's the snacks that are doing me in as far as my waist. I just eat toast for breakfast, a lean cuisine for lunch and then whatever I want for dinner, so I know I am not getting too many calories from my meals. It's the snacking. Damn that snacking!!!!

Oh, and the iced coffees that I have about three times a week. THOSE are chock full of calories. I think I will switch to a medium size instead of a large.

Anyway, so I did that shopping, then went home and deep cleaned the carpeting on my upper landing. It looks so nice and clean!!!!!

I was going to put new rollers on my sliding screen door and I was removing the door itself and I looked up and there was a brand new wasp nest being built about ten inches from my face.

Luckily it was just the worker wasps because they were not aggressive at all and did not come after me. But they sure gave me a start. They were building it between the screen and the glass doors.

So, I had to go to Dave's to retrieve my wasp spray that he used to get rid of his own wasp nest. Sprayed the living shit outta those bugs!!! Scrapped off the nest and hosed down the doors to get rid of the chemicals. Then it started raining.

Again.

I am SO tired of rain!!!!

We have not had one totally dry day since we got that 6 inches of rain in three hours last month.

Tired, tired, tired of RAIN!!!!

So, no fixing of the door.

Then I did some general cleaning. Washed all my glasses by hand since every now and then they start get a build up of the hard water from the dishwasher.

did laundry.

Got on the computer to do my back ups and I got into Facebook and it just SUCKED all my time. Ivan was online and we chatted for quite some time.

Dave called me and said he was going to be home soon. Made myself some dinner and then went over there.

The goal was to go to bed EARLY. We were both tired.

But of course, things never turn out the way we want.

Doug stopped by and brought his cooler of beer, which means he is going to around for a while.

DAmn!!!

Then April and Trish see Doug is at the house, so they stop by.

April and Trish did finally leave but Doug was staying for the duration, so I finally gave up and just went home. No Q time with my guy last night.

Dave asked me to call him this morning to wake him up so I did that and then went over for coffee.

And now I am at work.

Fun, huh?
