Work yesterday was fine. I had lots of down time after getting a HUGE amount of work in the morning.

I spent that time working on getting the closed files into boxes and labeled and ready for the District Manager to come get and put into storage. Yeah, that will take a LONG time. In the meantime, I have 9 boxes full of files sitting in my little tiny office. I just LOVE that......

I went tanning after work and then went home. I deep cleaned the hall carpet, worked on my MN property tax refund. I'm getting some money back!! Woot Woot!!!

Then I did dishes, ate dinner, swept my hard floors, brushed both dogs really well, laundry, and sent my timesheet into Paul so I can get paid for work done for him.

It was a pretty full evening. I also worked on that baby quilt for my niece. I was hoping to get it done before I go to Superior tomorrow but I don't think that's gonna happen. Only one more night to work on it and I have other various things I need to do tonight, too.

then I got into a hot tub and soaked for a while. It was a pretty cool day yesterday so it felt damn nice.

Dave called me around 9:20 and said he would be home in an hour and could he stop by for a minute? I said sure. But then I thought about how my house was a bit of a mess from all this cleaning I have been doing (figure out how THAT works, okay?) so I sent him a text saying that I would just meet him at his house for a minute. And that's what I did.

Nothing exciting in THAT story, but it's what I did.

Then it was home to bed and now here I am.

At work again.

And tomorrow I am heading out of town, so the weekend will be a bust as far as getting things done around the house.

Oh well.

It's life.

Oh, and I found out that the plans to Mexico are changed. Now we are going elsewhere, but I can't remember exactly where. And this comes after I checked out the hotel we were going to stay at and fell in love with it!!! Damn.

Oh, and of course, THIS new destination costs MORE, so I am not too happy with that. I may have to skip it altogether and let everyone else go.

Dave warned me. He told me NOT to count on going to Mexico since Doug changes his mind every two minutes. It only took 24 hours before the whole trip was changed AGAIN. So, whatever.

What these people have a hard time remembering is that I have a FULL TIME JOB!! One that I have to be at each and every day and I can't just change things at the last minute. Granted, the trip is in January, but when someone tells me we are doing THIS, I expect to do THIS and I hate being told we are now doing THAT.

Whatever.

Okay. I'm done with my rant. Going to get some work done now.
