<< Exhausted!!!! >>

Another good day at work.

Fairly busy. Made the time go by quickly.

Jenner stopped by and we switched cars out. She is kinda a hard person to read.

I am trying to get her windows fixed and her AC fixed and find out what else needs to be done.

Dave came, took the car, and proceeded to figure out what it needs. He is going to replace the master switch on the driver's door to fix the window issue. He has it set up to go to a friend's house with the car and get the AC charged with freon. He made calls to get prices on what else needs to be done. He drove the car down to have someone look at it.

What is needs is pretty simple. New rear brakes and new front tires. Sounds pretty easy, right?

Well, why the hell Jenner's husband has not taken care of these problems, I have no idea. Her solution? Buy a newer car.

How silly!!!

So, we have quotes for tires and brakes. Dave is going to get a master switch and get the windows hopefully fixed.

Anyway, Dave didn't want to open up the door panel without her permission, so I had to call her to ask her if it was okay. I only got her voice mail. She called me back around 7:00 to let me know it was fine for him to get into the the door panel.

Anyway, Dave and I eventually switched cars back. Dave told me that he would NOT let me drive back and forth to work everyday with the brakes and tires in that condition. Yes, I am a bit peeved at Jason for not taking care of these issues for Jenner.

Whatever.

So, I got the quotes from Dave. I sent an email to Jim to ask him to help Jenner pay for them. Dave wanted to pay for the repairs himself but I would not let him. Jenner is NOT his daughter, and while he is sweet to offer, I could not let him do that. So, I need to find the cash to get this done. Yes, I know she is married now. Yes, I know she has a full time job. Yes, I know she is an adult. But she needs help and if I can help even a little bit, I will do so.

Moving on...........

After work, I went home. We were invited to Heather and Stewart's anniversary dinner. It was a very expensive, fancy place to eat. Stewart's father came along and when HE comes, he always pays. He feels like it's an insult if someone else pays for the meal. That's very nice. And he can really afford it. He's a very wealthy person and this is just a drop in a huge bucket for him. However, it would be a day's worth of pay for me.

Again, fancy dinner.

We went to Zorbaz afterwards. I was really tired and really wanted to go home. We rode with everyone else because I was assured that it would be an EARLY evening and would be home early. Again, I am the only one that has set work hours. Heather does not work. April, Dave and Doug are self employed. Stewart is a business owner so can come and go when he wants. I have to get up at 5:30 each and every morning to get to my office on time.

So, I was getting tired and getting a little irritated that they just would NOT go home.

I didn't say a word, however. Everyone knew that I had wanted to have an early evening, but oh well.

went home. Let my dogs out. Dave came over to talk to me while I did that and was a little hurt that I decided to stay home and sleep in my own bed instead of going over to his house. I just needed some space for a bit. And a good night's sleep.

This afternoon, the guys are going on the boat. I have been invited to go after I get off work, but I am just going to go home and take a nap.

I was going to go to the Cities tomorrow but I found out how late the zoo trip was going to be in the day and I just don't want to get home so late, so I said I would not go. My sister said she pretty much expected that since I am a morning person and she knows that getting going that late in the day is just not what I can do.

So, I am not going. I believe the weather is going to be cooler tomorrow so I will get going on my lawn again. And whatever else needs to be done.

I am tired.

I can't really think too well right now. So, I guess I will go.

Have a good weekend!!!

<< welcome >>
