Work was good. Bossy Man came in twice, but did not stay long either time. That was nice. He purchased a new dictaphone so he did have some files for me to transcribe. That did not take long.

I had some time to watch some of the Michael Jackson Memorial service online. Just on and off.

I went home directly after work yesterday and proceeded to mow my front and side lawn. And just a few rows of the back. The back is not long except for close to the house, so I think I will finish that job tonight and just mow up to the point where the grass is not so thick. No one will tell the different from my deck anyway. It's too far away to see it well.

I got some dinner in me (corn on the cob left over from the BBQ) and watched the rest of my soap. And an episode of Dead Like Me on DVD. Dave apparently came over while I was in the shower. The dogs didn't even bark. He couldn't get in because all the doors were locked and he didn't bring his key with him. So, I had no idea he was even home until he called later and told me stopped by an hour ago. What a goofy man!!

Anyway, so I finished what I was doing and then went over there to visit. We sat on the deck and smoked and had a cocktail. Okay, I had ONE and he had about four.

April walked by and talked about how the plans had changed AGAIN for the weekend since no one was too excited with Doug's idea of going to Lake of the Woods to fish. To quote April, "The plans changed again and Doug does not know what he wants to do, so I am just making my own plans."

Sound advice.

I already am planning on going to the Cities on Saturday and Dave is talking about going to Hackensack to get his motorhome in order for next week's Moondance Jam. It's a four day music festival and we are planning on camping there. With two or three campers now, it seems. So, he wants to get things ready for that. We sat down and did lists of things we need to get ready. We are both list people, so getting lists together really helps to organize us both.

Dave's list is much longer than mine. Which is the way I like it. LOL

Doug called us and wanted us to go down and burn some stuff with him but we didn't want to, but then, of course, Dave felt a little guilty about not going down there. He kept justifying his decision by saying that HE calls Doug for stuff and Doug says he is too busy doing reports and can't. So, Dave told Doug that he is doing reports, when all he really wanted to do was sit with me on the deck. He didn't want to tell Doug he was on the deck with me because Doug would want to come down for a drink, which would lead to eight. So, no Doug last night, which was good. And Dave is getting over his little tiff with Doug and April over my wallet. As I knew he would.

Then it was time for bed and sleep. I slept so good last night. But I did swear at my alarm this morning. I could have easily stayed in bed for one more hour.

Oh well. I set my hours with this job, so I better stick to them.

Tonight is Karaoke Night and I think that Dave is going with me this time.

We shall see.
