Yesterday was a good day.

And, yes, the iced coffee/tea ordeal WAS the worst thing that happened yesterday.

So, it's all good.

Work was good. I took care of lots of reports and daily entries and letters. I was SOOO efficient that Bossy Man was emailing ME to STOP SENDING HIM WORK TO DO.

Payback's a BITCH!!!!

He sent me one final email stating, "GO AWAY!!"

I wish I could have. Unfortunately, I HAVE to be here during certain times of the day.

Oh well.

I got a call from Dave, just as I was trying to figure out something to make us for dinner and he said that Doug had a quick appraisal job to do out of town and he wanted to take us all along and go out to the Landing for dinner.

So, I said, GREAT!!!!!

But, I had to be ready by 4:00.

Whatever.

I get off work at 3:30 and I had to run to Wally World to pick up some MUCH NEEDED ITEMS. Things that could NOT wait, such as more contact lens solution, of which I was SURE I had another bottle under the sink, but realized yesterday morning that I was sadly mistaken.

Anyway, so I took off from work about ten minutes early and ran to the store. I had JUST gotten inside when it just started to downpour. What a rain we got yesterday!!!!

I timed it just right because just as I was leaving, the rain slacked off and gave me just enough time to get out to my car and start heading home.

then the skied opened up again!!!

It was kinda surreal because it was pouring down rain, but yet the sun was shining from the west, the direction I was headed. It was like a sun shower, only a lot harder.

Made it home. Took care of my dogs. Fixed my makeup a bit (okay, a LOT!!) and ran over to Dave's.

I scared the crap outta him because he didn't see me drive by so he didn't think I was home yet.

Had a smoke with him while we waited for Doug and April to come pick us up.

Did the two appraisals things that Doug needed to do and went out to eat.

I had the same thing I had last time I was there, Stuffed Crab Shrimp Provolone. It was SOOO good!!!!

Dave had the thickest pork chop I have ever seen, and Doug had his southern pasta dish that they do not have on the menu but always make for him when he comes in. April had shrimp scampi and life was good.

Drove home, got dropped off and Dave and I hung around outside on the deck for a while. It was still pretty humid out but tolerable in the shade of the deck roof.

Shortly, Doug came back down to have a beer with us and listen to the Twins game.

He stayed until nearly 10:30, when I went inside to take a shower to rid myself of the bug spray. I hate to sleep with that crap on my body!!!

I stayed overnight at Dave's since it was another hot and humid evening and MY house was too hot to sleep in.

I may be able to sleep there tonight, but then again, I don't HAVE to. I have an open invitation to sleep over at Dave's anytime I want.

I have already left several items at his house to make my life easier. toothbrush, make up, contact solution and case, robe. I brought more stuff over last night and I told him that little by little I was moving in. hee hee hee

he just laughs.

Tonight is the usual karaoke night, but I talked with Sam and SHE is not going. And Dave is most likely going out with the guys on THEIR new usual boating night. No women allowed!!! I kinda don't like this because it's on Wednesdays, which was always our karaoke night and now Dave goes out with the guys.

But then again, he did not go last week and spent the evening with me instead. And this morning he said that he wasn't sure he wanted to go tonight, either.

I think he will. I think it was "Morning Dave" talking today and he was not quite awake yet.

Okay. time to get to work. I have things to do and reports to type and letters to mail.
