<< Monday was a pretty good one. >>

I need just one more evening at home.

Just ONE more, please.

I don't know if I will get it, since some of my friends are pretty insistent on getting together and having fun.

But, man, just one more evening.

Yesterday, work was pretty damn boring. See? When I ASK for a busy day so it goes by quickly, what do I get?

BOREDOM!!!

I spent MOST of the day, either reading or surfing the net.

It was a SLOW day.

And I wasn't really feeling well. I got pretty dizzy around midday and was wondering what was going on. My throat was sore. I just wasn't on top of the world.

But not too bad. I made it through the day, went to Wally World and did my shopping. Mostly for animal nutrition items.

Dog food. Cat food.

I did buy myself some lunches for work, but most of the bill was for animal food.

I then headed home. I was still feeling a little off so I decided NOT to get busy with my house right away and take a nap. I figured, correctly as it turned out, that I would NAP pretty good, which in turn would give me energy to do MORE stuff around the house.

However, there still was that TIME issue. I woke up somewhere around 7:00, which only gives me three hours to do the housework I wanted to finish, eat my dinner, take a shower and find time to relax for a bit and read my book OR watch some TV.

I washed my sheets, did the dishes, vacuumed or swept and mopped all my floors, made my dinner finally around 9:00, got in the shower, and made some phone calls.

Oh, I DID manage to finish watching Saving Private Ryan on the DVR. It only took me about five days to watch that one. I have it on DVD, but somehow I like watching my DVR better. So, I tend to record movies on the DVR that I already own on DVD. Silly, eh?

I didn't quite make my 10:00 deadline and didn't get to sleep until after midnight, but that's what a nap does to me. Makes me stay up later at night.

This morning I still have energy and do NOT feel at all sleep deprived.

Work today is NOT going to be as slow as yesterday. I can tell that already.

Two calls from Bossy Man already and 14 transcription files in my email, and two enclosures faxed to me AND a promise of three letters to be dictated to me in about a half hour. THAT tells me it's gonna be ONE OF THOSE days!!!

Can't win. If only he would spread some of this stuff out a little better, I wouldn't have those slow days followed by uber busy ones.

The man will never change.

Okay. Need to set up those letters.

Have a good one!!!!

<< welcome >>
