<< Where do I get time for all I need to do? >>

Wow. Another busy weekend!!!

I was kinda chuckling to myself that I used to HATE weekends because it meant two days spent at home with Hubby, doing nothing!!!!

NOW, I am so busy on weekends I just don't have the time to even THINK about being home for more than two minutes at a time unless I PLAN it.

So, Friday night. What did I do?

Oh yeah. I went with Dave. He had a sales call to make up north and he had asked me to ride along with him. He would drop me off at the casino and then continue driving to do his sales pitch, head back and meet me and then after a bit of gambling for him, would head back home again.

And that's exactly what we did. It made for a very long day for me, having got up at 5:10 that morning and going going going all day. I only had time enough after work to let the dogs out and grab a quick shower.

It was fun. I lost all the money I had intended on spending, of course. And I was dead tired and slept part of the way home.

But overall, it was fun.

Saturday, I got up LATE. I slept in until nearly 8:00!!!!!

I immediately painted my ceiling in the hallway. Then I did all the floors on the main level. Then I started working on cleaning up the spare room. Then I did dishes, laundry, and pretty much getting my house back in order. I hated that it was such a mess from all the painting shit laying around. Oh, and I colored my hair, too.

Then Dave came over for a few minutes. He was headed out to another sales call, which is good. He needs all the sales he can get in this economy.

At some point, I needed a nap. So, I took one.

then I was up again, cleaning and doing stuff around the house.

Dave came back from his sales call and his subsequent ice fishing with his buddy and pretty much just hung around the house. I had a few other things I wanted to take care of, so I kicked him out and he went home for a while. later I met up with him again and we just watched some TV. His taste in TV shows is so different from mine. He likes game shows and CSI. I like documentaries and dramas that are NOT CSI. LOL

But we watched comedy central which we both could agree on.

Then I went home to bed. Fairly early, in fact.

On Sunday, I woke up and got going on more stuff around the house. I washed the sheets from the spare room and got that bed put back together. I emptied the boxes and bags of Jim's crap that I stored in there. They all went back upstairs to the office and put in that closet. I have no idea when or if he is ever going to come get that crap. It may end up in the garbage soon. I don't want/need to store his crap, ya know?

Then Dave came over for a short while. I had made monkey break and called him to share it with me.

He left shortly after breakfast and I continued on with what I was doing, which is pretty much getting organized.

Then I was wore out so I took a nap.

Good thing I did, too, because Dave called me later and wanted me to go to Bingo with him, which I did. Bingo gets done at 10:00 p.m., and Dave likes to play a few slots before we head back home, and the drive home itself takes about 45 minutes. So, by the time I get my butt in bed, it's around 11:30 or so.

Today, I don't have any work in my email yet from Bossy Man.

I do have a meeting at 3:30, which is my normal GO HOME time, but I can't get out of this meeting, so I will be here late.

Tomorrow I have to bring me car in. It's clunking again and I just don't know what the hell is wrong with it, it just starts clunking every few months. I keep bringing it in and they keep fixing shit, and the clunking stops for a while, but eventually starts up again.

I cannot afford to lose this car, so I am hoping that whatever is wrong is something that they fixed before and it's covered for repair.

Or, at least, I am hoping they find what the hell it IS!!!

It clunks when I am turning. Only the first time or two that I turn the car, and only if I turn it hard.

I am thinking that maybe the rack and pinion maybe needs tightening?

But what do I know? I know NOTHING about cars!!!

Okay. I guess I will go now. I have some work to do.

<< welcome >>
