<< Super Bowl weekend >>
2009-02-02, 7:54 a.m.

Not much time set aside for an update this morning. I spent WAY too much time looking at all the Super Bowl ads from last night.

I missed a LOT while watching the game, because, well, because I was gabbing with the ladies.

Weekend recap:

Friday night I went with a friend to the casino. Stayed WAY too late because on:

Saturday, I had to get up early (6:30)and meet Jenner and Jason in Crosby at a restuarant for breakfast, after which we went to the wedding reception site and planned out decorations.

It was great. I had a really good time. Jenner seemed to be very happy with how things turned out. And we got a lot of great ideas on what to do.

So, now starts the planning and the purchasing.

It was all good.

After that good morning, I had coffee with my neighbor and then went home and took a NAP!!!

It was probably the best nap I have taken in a LONG time.

Saturday night I stayed home and pretty much vegged. Well, I did so a little shopping, but mostly I just hung around the house. I was tired again, so I was asleep by 10:30.

Boring, I know!!!

Sunday morning, I woke up at 5:30. Of course. Never fails!!!!

I really TRIED to get back to sleep. No go. So, I got up. Cleaned out Hubby's closet. That took a lot longer than one would think.

I ended up with THREE large garbage bags full of SHIT!!!. Two bags of clothes that was on the floor. And a few boxes of books and misc. stuff that I had to bring down two flights to the spare room, where I am storing Hubby's stuff.

My garbage can is FULL, and I still have so many bags to get rid of.

Oh well. All in good time. And time is one thing I have plenty of.

I made ham roll ups for my contribution to the Super Bowl Party at Doug and April's.

I got there early, around 3:30 because they were going to play poker before the game started.

Well, I didn't realize it, but I was the only female playing.

One nice thing about playing with this guys is they don't care if you are male or female, as long as you have the cash to play.

So, there was six of us. One by one the guys all lost their money.

Yes, I won again!!! hee hee hee

Well, I actually split the pot with the last male standing because I was just getting tired of playing by then and the game was going to start soon. So, I asked and he agreed to just split the pot with me. (I probably could have won it all since I was up quite a bit and he hasn't figured out when I am bluffing or not.)

Anyway, so I walked out with $30.

Then we all went inside to watch the game.

That was, I have to admit, a bit boring.

So, I went looking for the ladies, who were out in the heated garage, gabbing and smoking.

I joined them. That was much more fun. There is a TV in the garage, too, so it's not as if I MISSED anything.

Well, by the time 8:00 came around, I was beat, and it looked like the Steelers were going to take the game, and since I didn't really care about the GAME, AND the ladies were one by one heading home themselves, I just went home.

And watched more Lost on DVD. I didn't even know who won the game until this morning.

All I know is I didn't win the board, so that was the extent of my interest.

Fell asleep quite early and easily and got up this morning. Got ready for work. Took out the garbage to the curb and here I am.

At work.

That's it.

More details later.
